Artist's Comments
The ancient Eidsvold class coastal battleships (also referred to as coastal defence ship) where built for the Royal Norwegian Navy in 1899 by Armstrong Whitworth. The class consisted of two ships, the HNoMS Eidsvold and HNoMS Norge. Both were the largest vessels in the Norwegian Navy, and one of the oldest warships in world war two.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
